The Weather

Peace, tranquility and freedom, my heart remains in Badrallach
Today in Badrallach I dwell
With eagle and with stag,
In a crofters cottage nestled well
Beneath the grey stone crag.
Oh golden eagle soaring by
Your spirit is wild and free,
I look in awe at you sigh
‘How I wish I was free.’
I stand beneath the mountainside
With the wind blowing from the fell,
Watching the lochs rippling tide
With the sunset reflected on the swell.
Therefore in peaceful rest and quietness
By the shores of Little Lochbroom,
I know now I am truly blessed
To witness natures harmonious tune.
So My heart shall dwell here evermore
Beside the Towering An Teallach,
And I will return to where eagles soar
To the little croft at Badrallach.
